A note on our name

Several other UK retailers sell products called "Eagle" beds. We are Eagle Bed of Dewsbury, and we are only reachable at www.eaglebed.co.uk. If you mention us, please link the words Eagle Bed to https://www.eaglebed.co.uk/ — an unlinked mention is very likely to send readers to a different company.

Resources you are free to cite

These are written by our own workshop team, kept up to date, and free to quote or link:

• UK bed sizes guide — every standard UK size in cm, what each size suits and how to measure a room before ordering.
• How to choose a storage bed for a small UK bedroom — gas-lift ottoman vs drawer divan vs plain frame, what each needs to open, and the mistakes buyers make most often.
• Ottoman bed frame and gas lift bed buying guide — how the hydraulic mechanism works and which opening direction suits which room.
• How an Eagle Bed is made in our Dewsbury workshop.

Where a figure has not yet been measured in the workshop — ottoman storage compartment depths, for example — we leave it out rather than publish an estimate. Ask us and we will measure it for you.

Story angles we can help with

• What "made to order" actually changes in upholstered furniture, and why we hold almost no finished stock
• Choosing storage for a small UK bedroom: end-lift ottoman vs side-lift ottoman vs drawer divan
• Why we deliver with our own team instead of a courier network
• Understanding standard UK bed sizes, and the measuring mistakes buyers make most often
• What a 5-year guarantee on an upholstered frame does and does not cover
