Divan Ottoman Beds

An ottoman divan bed pairs a firm upholstered divan base with a gas lift lid, so the whole mattress platform lifts to reveal storage. Ours are handmade to order in Dewsbury on solid wood frames, with free delivery across Great Britain.

Not quite right? For complete ottoman beds with headboards see ottoman beds; for a standard base or drawers see divan beds.

Ottoman divan buying guide

How it works

Gas struts support the platform as you lift it, so you can reach the storage without taking the mattress off. The base is upholstered in the same fabric as the headboard for a matching finish.

Popular options

• Ottoman Gas Lift Divan Base — end-lift base to pair with your own headboard.
• Side Lift Ottoman Storage Base — opens from the side for narrow rooms.
• Mayfair Ottoman Divan Bed and Line Bumper Ottoman Divan Bed — complete beds with a matching headboard.
• Multi Mini Line Divan Ottoman Bed — panelled headboard and upholstered base.

Before you order

Check there is nothing above the bed, such as a shelf, sloping ceiling or low window, that would stop the lid opening fully. For end-lift bases, leave clear space at the foot of the bed.

Sizes and fabrics

Made in Single (3FT), Small Double (4FT), Double (4FT6), King (5FT) and Super King (6FT), upholstered in Plush Velvet, Chenille, Coniston, Naples, Galaxy and Teddy Bouclé.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a divan and an ottoman divan?

A standard divan has a fixed base (sometimes with drawers). An ottoman divan lifts on gas struts to give storage under the whole bed. See all divan beds.

Will my existing mattress fit?

Yes, any standard UK mattress in the matching size will fit the platform.

How long does delivery take, and can I return a bed?

Returns are free within 14 days if the item is unused, unassembled and in its original packaging, and a faulty item is replaced free or fully refunded. See our returns policy.
