King Size Ottoman Beds

King size ottoman beds take a 5ft mattress (150 x 200 cm) and lift on gas struts to reveal storage under the whole mattress, a lot of space for spare duvets, suitcases and seasonal clothes. Every bed on this page is made in a king size.

Why a king size ottoman?

A king gives each of two sleepers about 75 cm of width, 15 cm more than a standard double, and the larger base means more storage underneath. Our bed sizes guide suggests a minimum wall width of 270 cm for a king, which leaves 60 cm of walking space either side.

End lift or side lift?

End-lift beds open from the foot, so you need clear floor space at the end of the bed, as with the Ottoman Gas Lift Divan Base. Side-lift beds open from the long side, which suits narrow rooms or a bed whose foot sits against a wall, as with the Side Lift Ottoman Storage Base. Want a matching headboard?
