A UK king size bed (5ft) takes a 150 x 200 cm mattress, which gives each sleeper about 75 cm of width. It suits two adults who want more room than a double offers. Every Eagle Bed king size frame is handmade to order in our own workshop in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, and delivery is free across Great Britain (Northern Ireland £90).

Our bed sizes guide suggests a minimum wall width of 270 cm for a king, which allows 60 cm of walking space either side.
